I hope that everyone had a wonderful end of 2011, and an even better new years day.
Mine was quiet and serene, and that's just how I like it. First, we had new years eve dinner with the youngest boy and his girlfriend, we made it home just in time to watch the ball drop in Time Square. (for my time zone).
New years day, was great, 85 gorgeous degrees, a walk on the beach, and our favorite pizza, Originals in Newport Beach, mmmm. :)
I am still trying to figure out what will be my next big crochet project. So, in the meantime, I decided that a little organizing would be a great idea, and what better way to start then with little catch all baskets. This one I'm making with Lily's Sugar and cream scented cotton yarn. It smells soft and flowery, so feminine.
Maybe it will hold some make up, or little hand towels in the bathroom. I'm not to sure yet. But I do know that I'll be making up a couple more this week. They are sooooo easy to make, and the scented yarn makes it even more enjoyable.
So, while I look for something big and significant to make, I will continue with my little baskets, and whatever little else comes to mind.
Wishing everyone a fantabulous first week of 2012!!!
