Pink and Green Cuddles
I just had to post the latest on the Pink and Green granny blanket.
It was a hit!!! Baby Ireland loved it. Even though this little one has a thing for shawls, she took to this blanket rather well. I have crocheted two shawls for my daughter and any time Ireland gets a hold of one she wants to be wrapped and cuddled, and it doesn't matter if it is 95 degrees outside, she can't help herself.
So here are a few pictures of my beautiful granddaughter with her blankie;
Lovely baby Ireland and her blankie.
she posed like a true model!! I had a hard time choosing which photos to post, they are all so darn cute!!!
And finally, baby and mama, My beautiful daughter and Ireland, her youngest. :0)
Bye for now, have a great rest of your day, and an awesome weekend!!!!

Loving this pattern!!!!
But I just finished the second one, and I couldn't stand it!!! I just had to show them off. Aren't they so fou fou, darlingly, adorably, cutsie?????
(I know that some of these words are not legit).
Now will I be able to use them for their intended purpose??? I don't know.
Have a blessed evening all!!!
P.S. My daughter would say I'm nuts.
Pretty Potholder
I know I know, be responsible!!! Do the things that need doing, stay away from frivolous projects.
I couldn't stand it!!! That vintage Potholder pattern jumped out at me every time I looked through the patterns which I have stored in my iPhone. Then after seeing the beautiful pillows that some of the other ladies have posted on their blogs with the same pattern, well, I just had to practice by making the Potholder first.
So now that I know how easy it is to make this gorgeous fou fou pattern, next I will make a big poufy, girly cushion.
But for now I hope I can impress my ever-so-crafty mom with some of my handiwork when she arrives next week.
Bye for now, have a great rest of your day!!!! :0)

:: Another Fine Mess ::
A while back I had promised myself not to get into anymore long term projects, at least for now.
My oldest son will be getting married in two weeks and I am in charge of sewing the flower girls dresses.
Well, I've gotten farther with this blanket then all the other things I have to do for our blessed event. (I started it a week ago)
Now all I want to do is pick up this project and work on it! The colors beckon me everytime I walk by my couch where it lays in waiting, nothing else matters but finishing it.
But deep down inside I know that I must be adult about these matters, responsibility calls, the dresses must be sewn, the bedroom must be painted, the bathroom too for that matter. There are kitchen cabinets to be wiped down and oiled........ and on and on..... All this before My family's arrival next Wednesday.
Will I be able to resist? No, Of course not!!! So, I must put my blanket away in a box, hide it in the darkest corner of my crafty closet where it will taunt me no longer. :(
But for now, I will say good bye to her by allowing myself just one more row. :0)
Good bye for now, wish me luck, and the will power to resist.
Have a great rest of your day!!!!
