I hope that everyone is having an excellent day so far.
Lately I have been on a bit of a crochet rut, I know that I have project deadlines, but I can't seem to get anything done quickly enough. :-/
So yesterday I gave myself a pep talk, and pushed myself to pick up the hook. Well, it's all about the grannies. They have a funny way of picking me up and putting me in my crafty crochet place.
It doesn't hurt that this soft pink yarn feels so good to the touch.
Yummmmmm. :0)
Four little squares, that's all it takes, just four little grannies.......
Have a fantastic rest of your day!!!!!
Thanks so much for visiting. MY son is ever soooo happy with his snake.
ReplyDeleteWhat are you going to do with the granny squares? I have done a pretty pillow, they look so good in pillows, but then aging, you might have other ideas, surprise us!!!!
Regards,

Hi Lory!!!!
ReplyDeleteAhhhh, give me a few days and you will see!!!!!!
It's really not a big deal, but it's part of my deadline order.
Very easy and Very cute. :)
BTW, speaking of pillows, have you seen the blooming flower pillow that's been on more than a few blogs??! Very pretty. As soon as I'm done with my order I will begin to crochet mine. Go to attic24 you will love it.
Or you can go to my July posts and see the potholders I made with the same patter.
Bye for now!!!
XIXO
I know!!!! She inspired me for the snake.. she is an English fellow, around the corner (not really, a bit up north).
ReplyDeleteI love her work and, have you noticed?, whatever she writes, she gets like one thousand comments! I am amazed! She seems very popular! She is a crochet goddess jaja
I like keep my blog cosy as I hardly have anytime to keep it up with the comments (not that I get many, but quite enough for me jaja). I have to make an effort, if you know what I mean.
I am happily surprise to discover 2 Chilean girls (casazoo and lorenacrochet)... I like being in contact with people from y homeland.
Take care! Cheerio!
Hi Lory,
ReplyDeleteYou are too funny!!! :). Lucy is very popular. I love color but have always been very shy about decorating with brights. Lucy's blog has helped me to come out of my neutral shell. There are a few blogs out there that are very similar in style. Hers just seems to jump out at me. I also like a few of the Shabby Chic blogs, have you visited "Sarah's Sweethearts"
Anyway, about that snake...
Tomorrow I will order the book which has that particular pattern. This will be my first attempt at crocheting a toy, so I don't think I can do it of the top of my head.
We'll see how those turn out.
I also follow Lorenacrochet and Casazoo, I am glad to have found the three of you. It is nice to get a glimpse of life in Chile, and now a peek into, let's see.... how do I say it... ChilBrit? ChiliBriti? BritiChile? LOL!!!!! Hmmmm, I don't know, but I will tell you, I have been in both countries and they are both very beautiful. I didn't get to see enough.
Well, I will continue visiting all three blogs.
And the Attic of course ( the goddess). Hahaha!!!!
Take care my dear, and keep in touch!!!!
Ciao for now.
Hello Anna,
ReplyDeleteThe world is becoming smaller with our blogs

Warm regards from Chile
