Ok, so knitting up a small swatch of plarn is not the same as knitting an entire project, I just don't like the feel of it!!! But my dear friends I will see it through. (at some point)
For now I'm working on project "Melissa loves Café Con Léche". :)
Dear Melissa from Crocheting Over Coffee asked me to contribute to her blog ( how exciting!!!!), so I've put all others projects aside and am now working on something that I hope will wow!!! her. I'll be done before the end of next week. Stay tuned!!!!
P.S. Sorry for the bad pic, I really need to learn to use the good nikon instead of the iPhone camera.
Have a great and blessed weekend everyone!!!!!
Hey Anna,
ReplyDeleteI am still having problems posting...anywhere...weird...
Just wanted to say that your plarn is knitting up quite nicely! It looks A LOT nicer than the others I have seen. Does it take longer to knit? Did you choose a specific color of plastic to use?
I am thinking of knitting up some Star of David wash cloths...I have a fab blue cotton blend yarn to use for it...thinking of posting the pattern...we'll see...
And your pic isn't that bad! iPhones actually take really good pics :)
Have a hugely blessed day!
Melissa
Hey there Melissa,
ReplyDeleteOMG, my Plarn is not what I expected, I still don't like the feel of it, :-/
But it does knit up very quickly especially since I'm using fairly large needles.
Although smaller would have been better. (sturdier material). Thanks for the positive comments, I will finish the bag. :)
I will definitely try the star of David washcloths, did you say knit? :)
Will it be your own design? I can't wait to see them.
BTW, I have tried to comment on your Bustelo post but no bananas. Will keep trying.
Have a great rest of your day!!!!
Anna
The Star of David pattern is not my own, but it was the only one I could find...and yes...KNIT! WOO HOO! I have been knitting for 28 years...I should be more advanced...but I find myself sticking to my favs...slippers, scarves, gloves, hats, washclothes etc....I will post the pattern for you...I have the perfect cotton yarn for it...it's blue...powder kind of...I'll have to do one up and take a pic. Your iPhone pics are way better than the pics my Samsung cell takes LOL
ReplyDeleteDid you manage to finishe the plarn bag?
Melissa
Hey there Melissa,
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to see how the wash cloths turn out. And to try them.
I've never knitted anything with a design on it , so it will be a challenge for me.
Well, thanks for stopping by. Now let's see if I can comment on your blog.
I wonder if I'm doing something wrong, or is it just the system.?
Hmmm.
Later!!! Have a great one.
P.S. Almost done with the bag, I'll post pics. And I finally learned how to post pics from my camera, Woohoo!!!
ReplyDeleteP.S.S. What are you talking about? Your pics are always great!!!!
