Way back in November I posted about a granny blanket that I was working on. Well, with special orders, family activities, and the holidays, the poor little grannies got totally neglected. It was not until, about two weeks ago, when looking into finishing past projects, that I came across a shopping bag with neatly tied bundles of grannies, each marked with a row number, (wish I'd taken a picture).
So, I tackled the job of sewing together all those colorful little squares.

It's a lot of work but it pays off. Don't you think?

I love the pink and yellow :) |
Pink is good |
I am very happy with this one, and since it was so much work, maybe I'll keep her. We'll see. :)
Well, this is all for today, I'm working on a few other things, I'll share these later.
Ciao for now!!! XOXO
Absolutely delicious! I would eat that balnket with a cup of tea! xx :P
ReplyDeleteIt's beautiful! and the pink and yellow is gorgeous! Great work!
ReplyDeleteWonderful work! I never tried crocheting granny squares, but they are so pretty. I think I will try some granny square project this year, but probably something smaller than a blanket.
ReplyDeleteThank you Lory!!! A cup of tea sounds great right about now. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Sarah! Now I got the bug to crochet something in just those two colors. Another blanket maybe?.
ReplyDeleteHo Olga, nice of you to stop by. And thanks!
ReplyDeleteYou know, I would highly recommend a small granny project to begin with. I believe I bit off a bit more than I could chew when I started this blanket, towards the end I was chocking on it. Hahaha!!!
Have a great day.
