:: Muffins, Giraffes, and Coffee, oh my!!!

Good morning friends!!!

It's as though time seems to fly when there is a lot to be done.

Two and a half days till Christmas!!!

This morning I still have three small gifts to finish up. So, in order to charge my battery I decided to bake myself some simple muffins to have with my coffee. I actually got the idea from the "To Sew with Love" blog. Leilani's muffins (or magdalenas as she calls them) looked so yummy that I decided to try my own recipe. Mmmm. Not too shabby. :)

Well, two cups of coffee and two muffins later, and we have a cute little giraffe for...... ......well, that's a secret.

I have really enjoyed my holiday crocheting, but if I ever decide to do this again I will definitely start earlier in the year. I never knew that my fingers could cramp from doing something that is usually a relaxing therapy for me.
Even so, I've enjoyed every minute of it.

This giraffe we will name Geraldine, the little person who will receive her is very fond of animals. So, I know this one will be appreciated.

I got the pattern from Lion Brand Yarns, but I did tweak it a little. It is soooo easy, even a giraffe can do it!!!!

Well my dears on to my next task,
Sewing lining into tiny bags.

Have a great rest of your day, and G~D bless. :)

  4. ¡Feliz Navidad!
He estado un poco alejada del blog, pero de a poco me pondré al día.

Espero que lo hayan pasado muy bien.

    Me encantó tu jirafa.

Cuéntale a tu marido que hice muchos panes de pascua para regalarle a mi familia, pero no le puse fruta confitada (piqué piña, damascos turcos y naranjas y agregué almendras y arándanos)

    Mil cariños desde Chile.

Happy you had a good Christmas,
My husband tells me that fruitcake is a big Christmas tradition in Chile. My sister in law, use to make it every year. Mmmm.
