It's been almost a week since my last post. I am happy to say that the flu is just about gone. I feel a bit tired but, I'm back to being me again. (Mr. W. is a great nurse).
Well as you all must know, not even a flu can keep a crochet fanatic from her hook, yes, I did do some hooking, headache, fever, body aches, and all. I started a special something for my mom, worked on my grannies, did some fun crochet and knitting, and yes I finally finished my huge colorfulful Attic24 inspired blanket. So, whadda ya think?

I forgot to measure , but lets just say that it pretty much covers the top of my king size bed. |

I have a big couch, and this baby hangs over the backside, |

what to do with left over yarn and an empty can: |

A nifty pencil holder for Miss. Milla!!! |
|
And Miss. Ireland needed a headband to keep those unruly curls out of her eyes. |
|
My Milla liked her pencil holder.

Happy to be doing well, and even happier that it was not so bad that I couldn't crochet. A lot more to come, so stay tuned, till the next episode. ( I just had to say that) :0)
Bye for now, enjoy the rest of your week.
I absolutely love it! How can you say you do not take big projects? What is that then? Very nice, very lifting spirit (is that how you say it?).
ReplyDeleteWho is that lovely little girl? Every inch of yarn was going into a creation! Well done!
Attic24 has a house made of crochet, a crochet house. One day we will see a house cosy, roof and outside breaks all covered in yarn jaja . In fact my husband suggested knitting a piano cosy jajaja (British humour):P

LOL!!! You are too funny Lory!!!!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much, I really did enjoy every moment of making my blanket. And yes it is the biggest thing that I have ever crocheted.
Next, who knows, maybe a cozy for the car...,, Hahaha!!!!
No, really, I do have a few things on my hook, I do want to finish them soon. With the holidays soon approaching I have a lot to do.
Well, you take care my dear.
P.S. The little lady in the pic is my 6 year old granddaughter Amelia "aka" Milla.
She needed a pretty pencil holder for her school desk. :)
Hola Anna
Saludos
Lorena
Hey Lore,
ReplyDeleteHa ha ha!!!! I actually had fun making this gigantic blanket, I guess it had to do with the color changes, every two rows I had fun deciding what to do next. I guess that was a big distraction.
My husband was the one who constantly stressed out. As it grew he kept asking, are you done yet?
