In one of my previous posts I mentioned how I got myself into a big mess by starting a ripple afghan.
Well, by now the mess is about 49" wide by about 43" in length!!!!
And I'm loving every minute of crocheting it. :). Mind you, I have other things that need to be done by a certain date, but this baby just keeps me going back for more.
The colors are all happy- make- me -smile-colors and the ripples never bore me. The best part is trying to figure out which color is next.
How big will it get? Well, let's just say I still have a whole lot of yarn left.
So for now, I'll put it down for a day or two, you know, obligations and responsibilities. :-/
It doesn't help that our weather has been above 100 for the past week.
Well, back to baby booties and fundraiser potholders.

Yes, my husband is from Chile, he left his country when he was 17 years old, and has only been back to visit once.
Unfortunately he became very I'll and we had to cut our trip short.
This is why we are planning another trip back. It has been too long.
My empananadas turn out pretty tasty considering I am not from Chile.
I made only 20 empanadas this time, but for September 18 I make about 50 or 60 wheww!!!!!
Again, thanks for visiting and for the blanket compliment, it just keeps growing.
